We recently had the pleasure of reviewing a performance of “Cirque du Soleil – Mystere”, a fantastic show performed by “Cirque du Soleil”. The show is in the “Treasure Island resort and casino”.

Wow! The athleticism and grace of the performers in this show are truly amazing! They make what they do look so easy. Yet, at the same time, one realizes while watching this breathtaking beauty that it takes years and years of practice and devotion to achieve the level that these athletes have.

This show is suspenseful, mesmerizing, funny and at times, even a bit frightening! It’s like time traveling back to a child like state where anything is possible and your senses are all activated. The clown, seen before the show and in the moments he popped up during the show, was funny and also surprising. One never knew when to expect him. The baby character was strange, but still provided a good number of laughs. The way some of the action happened above the audience or in different parts of the walkways was very clever. The music was sensual, provocative, and beautiful. Honored eight times as “Best Production Show” by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, “Mystère” has an international cast of 72 performers featuring dancers, singers, musicians and many fantastic acrobats.

It was a feast for the eyes and ears. We recommend that anyone interested in art, dance, acrobatics or just a great show check out “Cirque du Soleil – Mystere”.
